On Sunday Sept. 22nd, a Tribal Warriors Martial Arts student competed in the WUMA Welsh Open Championships. Successfully defeating competitors in the knockout competition and taking gold.

 The WUMA Welsh Open Championships, held at Eirias Park, Colwyn Bay hosts fighters from clubs across Wales.

Conner Scott, 17, trained with the Guro Gareth for a short while around a decade ago when he was just a young boy. He then joined Tribal Warriors just 12 months ago and has been training hard ever since. During this time has shown dedication, focus and determination. As well as his own training, Conner also helps with our childrens classes. An excellent example to our Little Warriors.

We have been working hard on body shots and combinations in preparation for the competition. Which ultimately paid off as Conner won the final fight of the competition with an impressive spinning back kick.
